The Colonel’s Pride Band Boosters
The Colonel’s Pride Band Boosters is an organization open to all parents and other supports of the band. Parents/Guardians of JWHS band students are automatically voting members of the organization. JWHS band students are welcome to attend all general membership meetings and their input is encouraged.
Executive Board
The Executive Board will implement and execute programs and activities in support of the band program during the school year. The Executive Board meets monthly prior to the general membership meeting.

General membership meetings are held the first Monday of the month at 7 p.m. in the band room. In the event that school is not in session, early dismissal occurs, or there is a conflict with JWHS scheduling, the meeting will be the second Monday of the month. If the meeting is cancelled due to inclement weather, an announcement will be made on this website, Facebook page and TeamSnap app.

Attention Parents and Adult Volunteers!
If you work or plan to work during any band event this school year or interact with band students, you MUST complete the form below and file it with James Wood High School. It takes less than 2 minutes to fill out. Thank you! Scholarships
Scholarship are awarded to eligible seniors at the year-end band banquet in May. Applicants must complete the scholarship application and be in good financial standing with the organization. An ad-hoc committee will be formed to review the applications and choose the winners. Payments will be made to the institution of higher learning for school year immediately following the student’s graduation from JWHS.
