Times for the parades will be as follows:
 
Friday, May 4, 2018
2:45 PM Report to JWHS
3:30 PM Depart for the parade line up.
4:15 PM Line up for Firefighters Parade. We will warm up and do
inspection at this time.
5:30 PM The Firefighter’s Parade begins. We are the SECOND BAND in
this parade. We should finish approximately 50 minutes after step
off.
App. 6:45 PM After our performance you may return to JWHS. We will load the
instruments and depart immediately.
 
Saturday, May 5, 2018
10:45 AM Report to JWHS
11:30 AM Depart for the line up. The line up site is the same as Friday.
12:45 PM Line up for Grand Feature Parade. We are the THIRD BAND in
this parade. The performance will take approximately 50 minutes
from step off to complete.
1:30 PM Grand Feature Parade begins.
2:30 PM After our performance you may return to JWHS. After we have
finished our performance we will load the truck and return to the
school immediately.

             On Saturday, March 10, 2018, District 14 will hold District Band Assessment at Skyline High School.  The following schedule will apply for this weekend:

Disney Trip Update

TRIP UPDATE…The final payment is due on Friday, January 19. Statements are being mailed on Saturday that will reflect your payments, student account balance, and your final payment amount. All payments must be in the box by 3:00 on January 19, no exceptions. We have to turn in the final number to the travel company, so no late payments will be accepted. If the final payment isn’t made, you will be dropped from the roster and no refunds can be made. Please contact me at president@jwhsband.com if you do not get your statement by Wednesday. I will be happy to get the information for you.

The following information is for the VBODA State Marching Band Assessment at Monticello HS in Charlottesville, VA, on October 28, 2017.  PLEASE Bring lunch to eat on the way to Charlottesville.  We will be stopping for Dinner on the way back (student’s are covered, accompanying adults must pay for their own meals – ~$11.00 + Tax).

US Bands Competition at Herndon HS – Schedule and Tickets for September 23, 2017

Another US Bands competition is upon us.  September 23, 2017 at Herndon HS, we will participate in the US Bands Northern Virginia Regional Marching Band Competition.
