We received the following designs for our new logo. Please choose your favorite by commenting with a “1” or a “2” for the design you like best. The design that receives the most votes will be given to a professional artist to prepare it for print. The winner will be announced on August 15! Voting closes August 13.

Logo Design Contest Rules:
The logo should be versatile enough to be used on the Colonel’s Pride website, press releases, clothing, etc.
Design should contain no more than four (4) colors (black is considered a color). The logo should look good in black and white. Make sure that the logo is recognizable when resized. Avoid intricate details.
No copyrighted or trademarked images should be included in submissions.
Logo designs must be emailed to email@example.com no later than midnight on Friday, August 3, 2018. All appropriate entries will be placed online for viewers to pick a favorite. Winner will be announced on August 15, 2018. By submitting a design, you agree to abide by these rules and guidelines. The winner will be judged based on the number of votes obtained, logo relevance, and clarity of design.

The busses are currently north of Lumberton, NC, and have a return time of 4 p.m.

TRIP UPDATE…The final payment is due on Friday, January 19. Statements are being mailed on Saturday that will reflect your payments, student account balance, and your final payment amount. All payments must be in the box by 3:00 on January 19, no exceptions. We have to turn in the final number to the travel company, so no late payments will be accepted. If the final payment isn’t made, you will be dropped from the roster and no refunds can be made. Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you do not get your statement by Wednesday. I will be happy to get the information for you.
The following information is for the VBODA State Marching Band Assessment at Monticello HS in Charlottesville, VA, on October 28, 2017. PLEASE Bring lunch to eat on the way to Charlottesville. We will be stopping for Dinner on the way back (student’s are covered, accompanying adults must pay for their own meals – ~$11.00 + Tax).

Another US Bands competition is upon us. September 23, 2017 at Herndon HS, we will participate in the US Bands Northern Virginia Regional Marching Band Competition.
