The James Wood High School band program has known great successes over the past 20 years in the state of Virginia, along the Eastern Seaboard, and Internationally.  The band has traveled extensively and has been awarded Superior and Excellent ratings for marching and concert performances in Florida, Louisiana, South Carolina, and Toronto, Canada. This has been possible through a strong parent organization and continued dedication of the Frederick County School Board and our students.
